It’s time for some cricketainment! Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani‘s Excel Entertainment is dishing out a web series based on the Indian Premier League. Reportedly, the web series will see Richa Chadha and Angad Bedi (of F.A.L.T.U fame) essay the roles inspired by Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia. Richa will play the role of an actress who co-owns a cricket team with her boyfriend. However, the writers will refrain from focusing on their relationship and will primarily highlight the ugly side of cricket; betting and match fixing.
Turns out, Richa is working hard for the role of a bubbly girl. After all, she is a super talented actress. Apparently, to understand what prompted Preity to invest in the sport, she is watching old cricket matches and interviews.
