Reports suggest that Aanand L Rai‘s upcoming project starring Shah Rukh Khan is not titled Bandhua, as commonly referred to. Buzz is, SRK will play a dwarf in the filmmaker’s next untitled project. However, looks like the actress to be cast opposite Shah Rukh is still undecided. Rumours were rife that Kangana Ranaut had bagged the role but we’re now hearing that Katrina Kaif may be cast opposite the actor. Given that Kangana is a common face in all his films, Katrina would be a refreshing change!
When asked about the title of the film and the lead actress, Aanand reportedly said:
The title of my film with Shah Rukh Khan is not ‘Bandhua’, as being referred to by the media. The film is yet untitled and we will make an official announcement of the title once it is locked. About the lead actress, we cannot confirm anything at this stage. It is too soon to talk about it.
Apparently, the film is set to go on floors by the end of this year. Are you excited?
