New York Fashion Week  is just nearly over, but I couldn’t wait  for the end to show you guys some of the really cool street style spotted there. The event always brings the boldest of  the bunch – New Yorkers and visitors alike, to flood the streets with the most creative looks imaginable. Editors, bloggers and models hustled through the week attending shows and displaying creative outfits, documenting it all on social media. These ladies and men all boast the kind of effortless, surprising personal style that can inspire us to think differently about getting dressed.

New Yorkers really know how to take a simple outfit and make it a statement. #NYFW is the perfect excuse for some to reveal their more daring side or a way for others to show they’ve been doing it right all along. Look closely at all the pictures and you’ll definitely learn a few styling tips from them. I love how Celine Aagaard styled her fanny pack, by using it as a sling, cross body bag instead. A few tricks here and there can really take an outfit to the next level.

Statement shoes and t-shirts, wide-leg pants, oversized athleisure, pleated skirts and denim: these are some of the trends that were spotted on the streets of New York. We hope you were inspired by some of our favourite street style looks at #NYFW. Follow @Bandraroad on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to get first dibs on what’s hot off the runway!
