The Bigg Boss house is certainly not an easy place to live and over the years, we have seen a lot of link-ups, break-ups and tempers being lost in the house. Specially the latter, so many fights that I have lost count. Let’s recall a few of them, shall we?
The first ever season of Bigg Boss had motormouth Rakhi Sawant along with Kashmira Shah. And it remains my favourite season ever. Remember when Kashmira turned everyone in the house against Rakhi? They both were sworn enemies. Also, Rakhi got into a fight with actor Amit Sadh over her mug! Ah, TRPs!
The women got into an ugly fight over everybody’s favourite topic- Nominations during season 2 of the reality show. The very straightforward Sambhavna Seth was in no mood to take Payal Rohatgi‘s accusations and took a stand for herself. Caught between them was Payal’s then boyfriend, Rahul Mahajan, who also happened to be close to Sambhavna.
Kamaal Rashid Khan aka KRK got into an ugly fight with Rohit Verma in Bigg Boss Season 3. KRK lost his temper and threw a bottle towards Rohit, which led to KRK’s immediate eviction from the house.
He also lost his temper with comedian Raju Srivastav and made some condescending remarks.
Dolly Bindra fought almost with everyone in the season 4 of Bigg Boss. She had a massive showdown with Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari (over eggs?!) replete with expletives in a heated argument. Remember Baap Pe Mat Jaana?
She also got into a physical fight with Shweta Tiwari, leaving her bruised on the arms. Samir Soni, who was another contestant on the show, then took a stand to get Dolly evicted from the house!
The season clearly belonged to Dolly and she is still remembered for her stint on the show.
Mahek Chahal got into an argument with Sky aka Akashdeep of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi fame during Bigg Boss Season 5. Sky attacked Mahek’s personal life and started bringing things from her past which led Mahek to tears.
Pooja Missra did not get along very well with most housemates during her stay in the Bigg Boss house in Season 5. But one incident that stood out was when she slammed a door in the face of MTV VJ, Siddharth Bhardwaj. He also tried scaling the walls of the house after the incident.
Imam (Season 6) made his mark in the house almost immediately with his various getups and costumes. He has been, IMHO, the most controversial wild card entry in the history of Bigg Boss so far. He got into an argument with actress Urvashi Dholakia, and made comments on her personal life. He went so far as to question her parenting skills, leaving the actress in tears.
He also got in a face off with actor Vrajesh Hirjee over another common fight inducing topic- Washroom!
Kushal Tandon got into a physical fight with another housemate, VJ Andy during Bigg Boss Season 7. In one of the tasks, Andy had to irk and irritate the housemates and they had to ignore his antics. However, Andy went too personal and made unpleasant remarks about Gauahar Khan. This caused Kushal to lose his temper and he hit Andy. He was later evicted from the house for causing violence and Gauahar also left the house with him.
Armaan Kohli was yet another hot-headed personality and got into heated arguments with a lot of contestants, like Kamya Punjabi, Kushal Tandon, Andy and even good friend Sangram Singh. He passed racist remarks for Kushal and called Kamya a divorcee, which reduced the latter to tears.
Also, he allegedly hit co-inmate Sofia Hayat with a mop and left her hurt. A complaint was reportedly filed due to Armaan’s violent behaviour towards Sofia on the show.
In Bigg Boss 8, Sonali Raut slapped co-contestant, Ali Quli Mirza after he passed an indecent remark about her. Following that, Ali started packing his bags and even tried to climb the roof of the house, saying that as per the rules of Bigg Boss house, violence is strictly prohibited. Sonali was later nominated for eviction throughout her entire stay in the Bigg Boss house.
Rishabh Sinha joined as a wild card entry and under the garb of a task, made Kishwer Merchant bend on her fore limbs and pretend to be a dog for 3 HOURS! This unfair behaviour irked Prince Narula, as he was very close to Kishwer. The boys had a major showdown due to this incident.
The ladies of the house were at loggerheads, specially when Mandana kicked Kishwer in the guts during a task. Kishwer was in no mood to take the incident lightly and even threatened to quit the show. In her defence, Mandana said she did it to protect herself as Kishwer tried to ‘choke’ her with her mike belt.
Kanwaljeet Singh passed some not-so-funny remarks related to Priya being from Australia and the latter, not the one to take shit from anyone, was not passive about the comment. She accused Kanwaljeet of racism and made a huge hue and cry about it.
