Karan Johar gave us a bright, eager to learn student in Alia Bhatt through Student Of The Year. In no time the student ‘graduated’ and delivered some amazing performances. Clearly, Karan has played an integral role in Alia’s career. And now according to a report in DNA, Alia has allegedly opted out of Rohit Shetty‘s Golmaal 4 owing to a possible tiff between her mentor Karan, and Ajay Devgn, because of the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil-Shivaay clash.
A source close to DNA said:
Alia’s business manager even met Rohit at his office and dates were discussed. All that remained was for her to sign the film. But after the Karan-Ajay hostilities flared up, Alia suddenly became unavailable on the dates wanted by the filmmakers. It was put across to them that Alia was busy with Badrinath Ki Dulhania and was to sign another biggie by the end of the year and then start shooting for Abhishek Varman’s Shiddat with Varun Dhawan from March next year, so she didn’t have any dates for the Golmaal 4.
