Diljit told us:
My first Punjabi film was a super flop, The Lion of Punjab. Then, everyone used to tell me that the one who wears a turban cannot be a hero. I thought maybe they are right. Maybe I can’t do this, and maybe boys and girls won’t like me. Maybe only those who have good hairstyles become popular. But I didn’t realise when this minus point became a plus point. And now this is such a big plus point that this thought doesn’t come in my head at all.
