Watch The Trailer Of LOEV, The Indian LGBTQ Film Everyone’s Talking About

Rashmi Daryanani

One major gripe many people have with Indian cinema is how homosexuality and gay characters are portrayed in our films: stereotyped, exaggerated, comical. That’s exactly why Sudhanshu Saria‘s LOEV looks promising – reviews so far suggest that the movie tells a story of love, heartbreak and friendship where the characters’ sexuality is mostly incidental. The film, which has already done the rounds of festivals internationally, will have its Indian premiere at the MAMI festival in Mumbai.

LOEV stars Shiv Pandit, Siddharth Menon and Dhruv Ganesh. Dhruv, unfortunately, passed away after the shoot of this film due to tuberculosis. He never got to watch it, but his parents were present at the world premiere in Estonia, at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.
