The Pratyusha Banerjee suicide case only seems to get murkier. According to a report in Times of India, Late Pratyusha’s boyfriend, Rahul Raj Singh filed a defamation case against Kamya Punjabi. Reports suggest that Rahul is awaiting a public apology from those like Kamya, who ‘took advantage’ of Pratyusha’s death. The actor was reported to have said that he took six months to react the way he did since he needed some time to collect evidence.
Here’s what he said to Times of India:
I want a public apology from all those who took advantage of the situation and hurled accusations at my family and me. Kamya claims to be Pratyusha’s friend. If she wanted to help solve the case, she would have gone to the police and not the media. I want her to prove all the allegations she had levelled against me in court now.
Apparently, Kamya has not received any kind of legal notice yet.
