Ah, it seems like Ranbir Kapoor is on a mission, a mission to prove that he really is the ‘male Sonam Kapoor‘ — and also to snatch the title of Bollywood’s sneakerhead from Shahid Kapoor. Why do I think so?
Right after strutting his stuff in the black ‘Diagonals’ lo-tops from OFF-WHITE c/o VIRGIL ABLOH™’s Spring/Summer’16 collection on the sets of Dance+ grand finale, he took another covetable sneaker from his collection out for a spin: the Nike Yeezy 2 in wolf grey/pure platinum. The sneakers came out back in 2012 to much fanfare and has now become a collector’s item.

He was seen in yet another fetching pair of high-top sneakers later for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil promotions on Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza, which turned out to be from a niche Italian brand, Ylati. Impressed much?
Then for radio interviews on Tuesday, he wore adidas Originals Yeezy Boost 350 V2 sneakers in the ‘stealth grey’ colourway — a highly sought-after pair, I’ll have you know. (FYI, he also has them in the ‘pirate black’ colourway.)
He teamed the striking sneakers with black biker sweatpants from Balmain, a white tee that he layered with a well cute customised hoodie from Gumani. Love this look from head to toe!
