Karan Johar‘s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has been in embroiled in quite a lot of controversies over the past few weeks. Raj Thackeray‘s party MNS (which, by the way, has NEVER won an election) decided to throw stones at the ‘expensive glass buildings’ of Karan Johar’s office and also throw stones at the theaters playing the movie.

All of this because Fawad Khan has a cameo in the movie. Karan even released a video (where he looked like a gun was put on his head) and said how the situation was different when the film was shot and how he won’t work with Pakistani talent in the near future due to the Uri attacks. MNS still wanted the world to burn, but now with the intervention of Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Mukesh Bhatt, it looks like the release will happen smoothly.

Here’s the full statement of the meeting –

So I guess it’s all cool now.
