Earlier today, we shared with you Abhay Deol‘s response to the ban on Pakistani artistes in India. During the Jio MAMI Film Festival 2016, the actor suggested that if the government was keen on banning something, it should go the distance rather than partaking in a ‘half hearted attempt’. Imran Khan was also questioned about his views while at the event, and he chose to keep mum about it.

Here’s what he said:

I have many views. My concern is that if I voice those views, I’m going to have people come and burn my house down. That’s very very far down the list of things that I’d like to see happen. I don’t want people to come to my house and burn it down and threaten me or beat me up. I want to avoid all these things so I’ll keep my opinions to myself.
