A breath of fresh air amidst the usual saas-bahu serials, Jennifer Winget and Kushal Tandon‘s Beyhadh evoked curiosity since its initial glimpses were out. However, recent reports indicate that the serial has not been able to garner enough viewership and has begun on a low note. In an interview with Tellychakar, the actress spoke about the serial, her role and the impact that controversies and rumours have on her.
I see Beyhadh bringing in the change on the small screen. I hope that this show brings evolution and people accept our hard work. I think every character is inspired from somewhere. Beyhadh is not based on any show or film. It’s a story about three characters and how their lives are entwined. Since it’s a finite show, we know what the beginning and the end is.
I am a happy person and all these nitty-gritties in life don’t bother me. It’s all a part and parcel of life. Every job has its pros and cons. As long you know who you are and what the truth is, it doesn’t really matter. I don’t need anyone to stand by me. I am good enough on my own.
