First Priyanka Jagga and now Akansha SharmaBigg Boss contestants are seemingly causing a stir even post eviction. The latest elimination saw former contestant Akansha walk out of the Bigg Boss house. During her stint in the show, Akansha spoke about her distressed relations with cricketer Yuvraj Singh and his family. The otherwise quiet contestant grabbed headlines when she spoke about her failed marriage with the cricketer’s brother Zorawar Singh, and blamed Yuvi’s mother for it.

According to a report in Firstpost, the cricketer’s mother Shabnam Singh has not taken this lightly and decided to file a defamation case against Akansha for allegedly ruining the image of their family.

This is what Shabnam was reported to have said:

Why do you think she got eliminated? It’s not just because she wasn’t playing the game well but it was due to the fact that she was discrediting Yuvraj, who is a national hero. Obviously, there was public outrage as his fans didn’t like it and voted her out. Yuvi has got a huge fan following and who’s she? She’s merely hopping on Yuvi’s fame and was lying all the time. We will take lawful recourse.

She denied any rumours about her son having smoked pot:

My son has given his blood, sweat and tears to the nation, this is insulting to him. Yuvi is busy with his upcoming wedding and we don’t want to give her publicity. I would have definitely helped her if she’d asked for it, if she wanted to do something in life. It is her right and dignity. But she can’t badmouth us this way. Her lawyers are misguiding her.

Tell us what you think.
