Bigg Boss 10
Bigg Boss 10

Hello! I am back with yet another recap from the house of Bigg Boss! The episode tonight was rather interesting and my smelling salts were happily lying on the shelf. So we start with the Raja-Rank kaarya, where in case you don’t know, Om Swami Ji is playing the Raja (horror, oh horror!)

Nitibha in action

Ah, finally! We get to see the girl in action. She has really upped her game methinks, ever since she was in the last leg of eviction with BFF/soul twin Akansha Sharma. She is really happy with her role of rani sahiba and that costume, takes on sexist team members, refuses to take their orders and rules the world (house) by throwing orders at the praja. For instance, she orders Rohan to make her painting and of course, the poor boy does a horrible job as he is not an artist. Rani sahiba is mighty pissed. She orders her role-play husband, Manveer (LOL) to send the artist to the “kaal kothri”. Rohan replies saying – “Torture sehne se better hain kaalkothri main band hona”.

Oh well, Nitibha! But keep it up, because it’s working-

Monalisa-Manu

Bigg Boss 10
Bigg Boss 10

As a part of the secret task, Monalisa planted kisses on Manu’s cheeks more than once and honestly, I wondered about the latter’s fiancee. I feel Monalisa has taken the easiest (read best) route to be visible in the house and earn more footage in the process- and that is- get a romantic partner! Apart from casual kisses, Mona also hugs him from behind and they also just sway along, like you know, people usually do when in love. All this is happening when the two are still in character, where Manu is the member of a royal family and Mona is a sevika, FYI.

Uff, these two!

Lot of arguments are happening over the task, amidst which Mona again gives Manu a peck on the cheek and then asks him if he is afraid. Manu, unaware of the task, responds saying he does not give a f**k about people watching (because, you know, mard), but he cares about her image and what the world outside may make of their antics (awww, sweet!).

Poor Manu, he will soon realise it was a task. Or there could be hidden feelings, you never know!

Baba ji

No episode is complete without Swami ji’s caper. He is, I don’t have adjectives. Today, we see him dressed as a raja and it’s hilarious. His team members make fun of him, hatching plans to send the raja himself to the jail. The raja, on the other hand, tells his wazir (Gaurav)  that he wants to hand over the satta to the celebs. Why? Because he is, I told you I don’t have adjectives.

In order to carry out his secret task, Rahul Dev approaches Baba ji with a piece of cloth to wrap around him, but the latter resists. He later complains to his team that Rahul tried to suffocate him and it could have led to his death. This is heights of exaggeration now, Baba ji.

With his BFF outta the house, the old man has lost his direction in the house.

About Manveer…

I finally figured what’s wrong with him. Ever since the beginning of this season, I have wondered what is bugging me about him. Even Manu did not take very kindly to his silent presence in the house. And I don’t even know what I expected from him, but he just did not deliver.

And my verdict is that – his voice does not match his brawny and macho appearance. One moment you are intimidated and the very next, he opens his mouth to say something.

FIZZZZzzzzz……

It is all a facade. Even when he gets into a heated argument with Lopamudra, his “ma pe mat jana” falls flat and is pale in comparison to the yesteryear gurus. And of course, Lopa doesn’t take his shit. (More on that later)

First time, in this season, I LOLed at someone else apart from Lokesh. Navin had a minor relapse where he (tried to) shouted at Nitibha but his head gear gives him away. It fell down and the intensity of the situation reduced to nil because everybody started laughing. And this fellow summed up the entire sequence for me-

Really, Navin. Stop trying!

Also,

I hate it when someone troubles Lokesh. The bodyguard instincts I possess take forefront and I am like “Back off, dude!”

But she be amaze because she wins her battles fair and square!

Meanwhile, Lopa is slowly, but surely emerging at the top of the game. She takes a stand for herself always, plays fair and know how to show them boys their place. She doesn’t let Manveer overpower her and gives it back to him when he disrespected her. You go, Lopa!

Okay, that’s all. Ciao!
