Taking into account the brouhaha over Fawad Khan‘s role in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, director Gauri Shinde has reportedly replaced Ali Zafar from her upcoming film, Dear Zindagi. In order to avoid any sort of trouble, Gauri has replaced Zafar with Tahir Raj Bhasin.
Ali was supposed to play one of Alia Bhatt‘s love interests in the film, but unfortunately that is not happening anymore. BollywoodLife quoted a source saying that he has been replaced in the film with Tahir and yesterday, they even shot a dance sequence on an Arijit Singh number.
It is possible that these reports could be entirely false as the release date is only 3 weeks away. Also, rumours were rife during Ae Dil Hai Mushkil too, that Saif Ali Khan was replacing Fawad Khan, which clearly did not happen.
Earlier this year, Karan Johar had reportedly planned to launch Ali’s brother, Daniel Zafar in his film starring Fawad Khan and Katrina Kaif. However, that project has been indefinitely shelved.
