After Karan Mehra (the original Naitik) and Rohan Mehra (Naksh), it seems Hina Khan is also all set to exit the popular daily soap, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. According to the leading daily Mid–Day, the actress isn’t too happy with all the focus shifting towards her co-star, Shivangi Joshi, who plays Naira. After all, Akshara has been the leading lady of the show for the last seven years. And suddenly, everyone’s talking about the chemistry between the new actors playing the younger generation and her role isn’t getting as much attention as it used to.
Plus, it seems the makers of the show have decided to end the track of her character. A source has been quoted by the daily:
“Her lack of punctuality and truancy have been a headache for the makers. Recently, she claimed to be suffering from dengue, but somehow managed to give interviews to channels.”
Also, a crew member told the newspaper:
“The writers have to constantly change the script since Hina is unavailable to shoot most of the time. Though currently serving notice period, she is being unprofessional by not showing up.”
