Deepika Padukone was seen shooting at Dhobi Ghat day before yesterday in a very different look, and it was reported that she’s shooting for a secret project. Well, sources tell us that Maverick Iranian director Majid Majidi is all set to direct a Hindi film, and Deepika was doing the look test for that. Majid has been coming to Mumbai on and off for the past two years, and he also went for a recce to Rajasthan and Pune earlier this year. The film is being produced by Shareen Mantri, Eye Candy Productions. Sources tell us that Majid is in talks with a few other actors apart from Deepika for the film.
A source informed us:
Majidi will go back to Iran in a few days and then come back in December. He will start shooting for the film roughly in mid-December and will be in India for 2-3 months to finish the film. The filmmaker will be shooting the film in parts of Rajasthan, Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh. He had also gone to Lonavala for a recce but he apparently didn’t like the place much. Deepika has not yet been finalised for the project.
Let’s see who from Bollywood will get the opportunity to work with Majidi.
