A lot has been written about the box office clash between Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan, but Hrithik feels that his friendship with Shah Rukh will not be affected. Reports were doing the rounds that Hrithik and SRK are having some sort of a cold war because of their films, but while talking to PTI, Hrithik said:
Shah Rukh and I are friends and we both know each other well enough to make sure that there is absolutely no negativity. In fact it’s hopefully going to be the most positive experience for both of us and our fans.
The release date of Kaabil was announced much before the film went on floor. Raees was pushed as Shah Rukh didn’t wanted it to clash with Salman Khan‘s Sultan. Later when the makers of Raees decided to release the film on January 26th, he met and spoke to the Roshans. However, reportedly Rakesh Roshan refused to shift the date as they had announced it earlier.
