Popular TV actor Karan Sharma and his singer girlfriend Tiaara Kar tied the knot yesterday. Of course, the lovebirds are super kicked about it. But they also had to face a lot of difficulties because of the ongoing demonetization of 500 and 1000 rupee notes. According to India Forums, the couple and their family had many issues while making the payments to the wedding organizers and other people involved with the event. Reportedly, most of them needed cash payments and Karan’s dad had withdrawn a lot of money from the bank just before PM Modi‘s announcement.
Naturally, they had a lot of trouble as they were left with the unusable notes. But since the wedding date was fixed and everything was finalized, they couldn’t postpone it. While the actor somehow managed some funds, his family members had been waiting in the ques outside banks to get the required cash. Nonetheless, the wedding has finally taken place and the two are officially hitched. Yay!
