I came back to my beloved after a break of 7 days (weddings are a week long affair in North India). Talking about Bigg Boss 10, in case some of you are doubting my intentions here. So happy to see things are still the same with Manu Punjabi. He still sits under the old banyan tree, imparting life lessons and giving survival tips. Oh Manu, never change!

Manveer is visibly hurt after Lokesh‘s eviction. I was surprised to realise his voice does not bother me anymore. I have adjusted to it maybe, or maybe I am quite refreshed after a week’s break. Karan Mehra‘s absence from the house – that’s right – pata hi nahi chala.

Apart from that, I see that Manu and Swami ji have taken their arguments to a higher level. They are quite open about “not liking” each other, there is no sugar coating, no sarcasm that went past Swami ji’s sanyasi mind. Just open insults and shallow digs, just like I used to have with the rival basketball team. In school. That’s right! I was 15. Then I stopped playing.

Speaking of Swami ji, I am very impressed with him. I felt that he has given up the attempt to put on the garb of honour which he so badly wanted to possess. He is just a civilian here, dressed for a fancy dress contest.

Also in full swing are Bani J and Gaurav Chopra. Yep, she still demeans him and treats him ainven and he still deals with her shit like it ain’t nothin’!

Hmmm, let’s see who all I have missed! Mona, yes, she tried to be reserved and maintain distance from her boys – and even told them so – but I guess it’s too late for her to play her individual game now.

Now for this week’s nominations, master mind Bigg Boss planned something interesting. The housemates are split into two teams, headed by Bani and Lopa, and they have to curate content that has the capability to go viral on social media. Sunny Leone, whose career took udaan from the Bigg Boss house, has to judge the two teams, based on how explicit entertaining is their content. The team that loses will get nominated.

Swami ji gave his two cents when his team was discussing ideas for their videos. He suggested Mona kiss him because that kinda content goes viral. Were you really a swami before entering the house, Swami ji? Or have you picked up such ideas after your brief stay in the bad company of the house?

Anyway, it was all much ado about nothing as both the teams’ videos are disqualified because of the “adult” content. Attempt 1 of Round 1 is scrapped, housemates rack their brains for new ideas and Bani wins the round.

For Round 2, Gaurav & Rahul bromance each other and I dont know about Sunny, but I am definitely not impressed. Brownie points to Rahul because that’s the most action I have seen him doing in the house. From the opposite team, Lopa does a hot pole dance sequence, thereby impressing Judge Sunny. Team Lopa are clear winners in the second round, bringing the score to an equal.

Somewhere during the episode, I felt Mona wanted to go for the pole dance. This is a personal opinion and I could very well have misinterpreted it, but it seemed as if she felt overshadowed by Lopa. Her BFFs/team members failed to see that, but then again I could be entirely wrong. She got dressed too and hesitantly suggested that they both could do the pole dance, but unfortunately, nobody paid heed to that. Later, she tells Bani in a rather subdued manner that Lopa was an apt choice as she has a better body. As round 2 comes to an end, she is seen weeping to herself. Awww, Mona! She is unaware of the surprise the housemates have planned for her birthday in the garden area. The episode ends on a happy, cheerful note, and Mona is still crying, albeit tears of joy.

It’s good to be back, Bigg Boss!
