It’s the season of band, baaja and baarat in our telly town. Many TV celebs have tied the knot in the last couple of weeks. Now, here’s a little something about yet another newly married television couple.
Nivaan Sen, who’s best known for his roles in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara and Do Hanson Ka Joda, also took the plunge recently. And guess what? The actor fell in love and got married to one of his fans. The wedding took place in Varanasi on 24th November.
The bride, who has been a big admirer of Nivaan, works as an accountant in Bangkok. She hails from Uttar Pradesh. Both of them met on a social media network in 2008. Talking about their love story, Nivaan told an entertainment portal:
“We started interacting with each other on social media back in 2008-2009. She used to admire me as an actor. Gradually, we started developing interest in each other and decided to spend life together. She is a Rajput girl and I am a Bengali, so it was little hard to convince our parents. Finally it happened and we tied the knot day before yesterday. We got married in Varanasi following both the traditions – Rajput as well as Bengali. I think when certain things are destined to happen, it has to happen and the same has happened with me. We will soon be figuring out to settle together in Mumbai but as of now, she will be leaving for Bangkok soon.”
