Sidharth Malhotra was recently holidaying in New Zealand when I called him for a tête-à-tête to chat about his cool holiday. Sid is a total charmer *blush* and he gave me an insight of the kind of traveller he is.
We all are a certain kind of traveller, you see. (I am a shopper without a leash, in case you are wondering) Siddharth is the adventurous sort. Right before our phone call, he had walked on top of the beautiful Auckland bridge, which he told me was a pretty unique experience with an awesome view.
You are on the top of the bridge, you are very safe, with the harness on the railings. There is a lot of wind and you see why Auckland is called the City of Sails. I think this is there USP, experiencing these places which you would not get to do anywhere else in the world.
Being a huge adventure sports fan, Sidharth said he used to love going to Rishikesh for river rafting when he was young. However, he rues that there are not many places that offer a wide variety of adventure sports in India, and therefore, New Zealand. So now you know where to find Sidharth Malhotra catching his dose of adrenaline.
Ask him who he would love to take along with him from Bollywood and pat comes the reply, Dream Team 2016 – Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Parineeti Chopra, Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapoor. He said:
It will be pretty fun to come and perform and it would be great fun to take them around for all these adventure sports activities.
Awww! Such pretty people in one beautiful scenic place. No wonder then, that he said he would love to shoot a song there.
P.S: Sid Trivia- Did you know he is very fond of sea food, be it oysters or fish or prawns? And he also loves the New Zealand lamb.
