Here Are The Songs On Chris Martin's Playlist (And Yes, There's A Bollywood One!)

Rashmi Daryanani , 06 Dec 2016

The first episode of #Vh1InsideAccess with MissMalini premiered on Vh1 last night, and we’re SO kicked about this new show we’re bringing you! :) The vibe is very behind-the-scenes, giving you access to all the kinds of content you won’t get in regular interviews – all the prep, the madness, etc. For this first episode, MissMalini hung out with The Vamps, Farhan Akhtar and Shraddha Kapoor, and Coldplay‘s Chris Martin. And yup, there was some never-seen-before action from the Global Citizen India concert, an event that’s still etched in many of our minds!

Here’s a quick recap of the first episode:

1) The Vamps

MissMalini chilled with The Vamps, and they told her that the one person they’d love to get a tweet from is Shah Rukh Khan! Someone make that happen.

2) GCI Madness

We got to see so much of the madness that happened just before the Global Citizen India concert! Yup, the lines, the anticipation, the crazy fandom – it brought everything to life in a whole new way!

3) Jamming with Farhan & Shraddha

Farhan Akhtar played the guitar, Shraddha Kapoor sang Tip Tip Barsa Paani – and so much more during MissMalini’s jam session with them.

4) Chris Martin revealed the songs on his playlist

He’s been listening to Channa Mereya (aaahh!), some Leonard Cohen and Rhapsody.

5) Coldplay!

I don’t know about you, but I’m never going to get over Coldplay‘s performance at GCI. We got to see bits of that again, including the epic Chris and Rahman collaboration.

There’s a lot more action next week, including Ranveer Singh  and  Kiran Rao.

Remember to tune in every Sunday at 8pm to Vh1 India for #Vh1InsideAccess, brought to you by HTC India and co-powered by Maybelline New York India.
