The cast of Padmavati is already amazing, but it looks like Sanjay Leela Bhansali has pulled off a coup and managed to add another superstar to the magnum opus. Yep, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be joining Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Aditi Rao Hydari in the movie. Sanjay has written a special appearance and a song sequence with the former Miss World Aishwarya Rai in mind for his next film, Padmavati. Bhansali spoke to Ash and they both are really keen to make it work. The song will be filmed during a 15-20 day schedule, which includes rehearsals at a suburban studio. Ash also has a few dialogues.
In case you’re wondering if this will be a jugalbandi between Aishwarya and Deepika (like Dola Re Dola and Pinga), then no, this song will apparently be different from anything seen before.
