Kangana Ranaut Reacted To The Best Actress Debate Between Alia Bhatt & Sonam Kapoor

Last year saw a lot Bollywood actresses churn out powerful performances in some commendable films – most prominent ones being Sonam Kapoor in Neerja and Alia Bhatt in Udta Punjab. Needless to say, the award for the ‘Best Actress’ was a close call between Alia and Sonam as both the women delivered performances worth an applause. At the recently held Star Screen Awards, however, Alia walked away with the coveted award, much to the displeasure of Sonam’s fans.

Now, the choice was obviously a tough one and subject to debate. When India-Forums asked Kangana Ranaut for her preference, she chose to take the diplomatic route and replied:

I am not an awarding jury. It’s not my job to decide who should win. I don’t believe in awards, then why should I bother? I don’t care who wins.

Hmmm! You know what they say, everything is fair in love and war, and awards!
