Befikre
Befikre

I love Ranveer Singh, I do. So I was extremely surprised when I found myself rooting for ‘the other guy’ while watching Befikre. But that’s how convincing the charming second lead of the film was. I must say, the casting is totally on point. Newcomer Armaan Ralhan was perfect as the super suave and hotshot investment banker, who didn’t mind a third wheel on his first date with a pretty girl. And OMG, how can I not mention the scene where he proposes to Shyra Gill aka Vaani Kapoor on the top of the Eiffel Tower? I am sure every other girl fell in love with his character Anay. Yash Raj Films has now dished out this piece about this hottie.

When one believes in a dream and nurtures it since childhood, often, life and destiny collaborate to create the best possible opportunity. This young actor, who has made his debut as the second lead playing a charming banker in Aditya Chopra’s Befikre, is raring to go as an ambitious performer.

Armaan Ralhan’s debut journey reflects this truism. This charming, handsome young man, educated at the prestigious Cathedral school in Mumbai, always dreamt of being an actor. As practicality took over, Armaan chose to pursue filmmaking instead at the New York Film Academy, a film training centre known to encourage free thinking and creative pivots. By chance, a fellow classmate cast him as his actor for a student film at Times Square. For Armaan, this was a sign to pursue his first love of acting.

Working on building his acting abilities, Armaan attended Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares and has pursued workshops with Neeraj Kabi and casting director Mukesh Chabbria. Grandson of yesteryears filmmaker and producer O P Ralhan, this young actor has made a promising beginning and is set on the right track to maximise his potential on-screen.

Now, here are a couple of pictures of the dishy boy.
