Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza has had its fair share of controversy – Tannishtha Chatterjee lashed out at the team for being bullied about her skin colour, and John Abraham also walked out of the show midway. Now, according to a report in DNA, that amidst “dipping TRPs” and “bad press”, the makers are planning on going off air for a few months.
DNA quotes Bharti Singh as saying that the entire set will be changed, and the show concept revamped as celebrities weren’t doing too well with the roast format. Krushna Abhishek also confirmed this, but said that they aren’t sure when they’re going off air now, as they have a few shoots pending. But after that, they will be going off air and will come back with a changed concept and revamped format.
