Neil Nitin Mukesh surprised everyone by announcing his engagement this year with Rukmini Sahay earlier this year. Now the two are all set to get married Udaipur with pre-wedding ceremonies starting from February 7. Here’s what Neil told Mumbai Mirror about his wedding preparations –
My parents wanted a big fat Indian wedding for us, but I wanted it to be an intimate family affair so we chose Udaipur where all of us could get together for the big day. It will also be a great way for Rukmini to meet my extended family over three days.
He further revealed that his dad Nitin is looking into everything regarding the wedding and they’ve assigned a theme for every ceremony –
The mehendi ceremony on February 8 has the mela theme featuring several games, and Rajasthani folk performances. This will be followed by sangeet night where my father will sing few of his popular tracks. I have planned something for Rukmini too but want to keep it a surprise.
He plans to get down on his knees for his pretty wife-to-be and he’s really looking forward to that. The family will host a wedding reception for their Bollywood friends on February 17th at a five star hotel in Juhu. This will be one beautiful wedding!
