A lot has been said about the choice of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan‘s baby’s name- Taimur Ali Khan. Although the parents have the full right and privacy to choose their new born’s name, Twitterati is disappointed as many feel the name has a similar ring to a ruthless Turko-Mongol conqueror, Timur, who had invaded India.
So far, no one from Bollywood has spoken in support of the parents. However, former Jammu & Kashmir CM, Omar Abdullah came out in support of the couple and tweeted:
The only people who get to decide a baby’s name are the parents of said baby & the ones they ask. Why should opinion of the rest matter?
