Speaking to Pinkvilla about it, the Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor revealed that his wifey gave him the news as a surprise after he got evicted from Bigg Boss 10. He said:
I am really very happy. It was when I came out of the BB house she broke the news to me. It was a big surprise for me. We don’t plan all these things. We had anyways decided to extend our family soon and now that’s what is it all about! There were too many speculations that kept doing rounds again and again. We needed to put up the post on social media because we wanted to put the speculations to rest. And yes, we need all your good wishes for this journey!
