Shah Rukh Khan is a doting father and it’s out there for the world to see. He shares cute pictures of his family every now and then, and even posts super sweet messages for his kids when he misses them. Given that he’s one of India’s biggest superstars, there’s obviously a lot of speculation surrounding his children’s career choices – especially that of Aryan Khan‘s. Rumours have been doing the rounds now that he’ll make his debut soon after Karan Johar once said that only he’s allowed to launch Aryan.
In an interview with HT, Shah Rukh said there is one condition his kids need to fulfil if they want to become actors.
In my home and family, there’s a minimum qualification to be an actor — you have to be a graduate. If you aren’t a graduate, I believe you can’t be an actor. I’m really sorry for all the actors who are not graduates. It’s not because I look down upon people who are not. But I am a graduate and I believe education has helped me beyond my limit. I have limited talent, but I believe education has helped me go beyond time and helped me become who I am.
That’s honestly a very smart decision to make.
