During a recent awards’ show, Varun Dhawan‘s jacket caught fire in the midst of his performance, despite all the safety measures being in place. His act reportedly started around 3 AM and he was grooving to his hit tracks when the incident occurred.
According to a report in Mid-Day, it was a highly energetic performance and Varun’s guitar suddenly burst mid-act due to which flames erupted and his jacket also caught fire. A few sparks reportedly flew in Rekha‘s direction as well. Varun continued to dance so as to not disrupt the show.
Luckily, he escaped without any injury!
