Amit Dolawat, popular for his role as Alok in Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and other shows such as Diya Aur Baati Hum and Sasural Genda Phool is all set to get married to his girlfriend, Cheshta Sharma, who is an air hostess by profession.
Amit and Cheshta have been dating since almost 3 years now and have chosen Valentine’s Day to finally get hitched. Amit told TOI that he met Cheshta 3 years ago on a flight and since then, he has traveled to different cities to meet her. Aww! If that wasn’t romantic enough for you, the couple has reportedly planned something unique for their wedding. Amit told the leading daily:
Cheshta wants to have not seven, but eight pheras. During the eighth phera, I have to lift her and vow that I will take her nakhras all my life, like I have in the past.
Isn’t that incredibly cute? However, the marriage did not come easy for the lovebirds as they belong to different caste and their parents were against the match. But all’s well that end well, right? The couple also reportedly plans to go on a honeymoon every month, starting with Thailand.
