Nina Dobrev was slaying, quite literally, bringing her A-game at every xXx: The Return of Xander Cage premiere red carpet this past month (click here to see our favourite look). We’d expect nothing less from this gorgeous actress really. She returned back to her hometown of Los Angeles, after spending a good two weeks jetsetting all over the world promoting the action flick, and celebrated her birthday by throwing a fun-filled and colourful party for her close friends. Her ‘La La Land’ themed bash was everything we wish our next party could be.

All her guests looked as lovely as ever, girls in classic yet modern summer dresses all in vibrant colours and the guys in clean and classy semi-formal silhouettes. Nina wore a pale blue, low cut, halter dress by Gucci and accessorised it with a dainty white embossed clutch, white satin pumps by Sophia Webster, a deep red lip and her short hair in loose curls. We spotted dancer and actor siblings, Derek and Juilianne Hough (in yellow), along with Breaking Bad star Aaron “Pinkman” Paul with his wife, Lauren Paul (in bright red) and Nina’s hairstylist, Riawna Capri dressed to the nines in their best. They all look SO GOOD!

Check out these beautiful besties, Nina and Julianne, flashing their perfect pearly whites in this cute pic… They look hella happy and we’re in awwww you guys! Awwwww…

Nina proves that we’re all cut from the same cloth as she expressed her delight in this yummy looking unicorn cake. Don’t tell us you’ve never thought of getting one for yourself… Of course, we have! And also a pair of the pink tinted sunnies she’s wearing… They’re pretty amazing!

Incidentally, this theme party comes in great timing as just yesterday, it was announced that this Hollywood inspired Hollywood film is nominated for FOURTEEN Oscars this year! Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling are nominated in the acting categories, Damien Chazelle for Best Director and the film is nominated for Best Original Screenplay, Costume Designing, Sound Editing and Mixing and a tonne of other technical awards. It’s a dreamy film that’s cheerful, sombre and classic and if you haven’t had the chance to catch it then, we highly recommend you check it out! A singing, piano playing and brooding Ryan Gosling is just what the doctor ordered… Trust us!

We’re definitely planning on following suit and throwing a cool movie themed house party on Oscars weekend. Tell us, by commenting below if you’d like to be invited to our bash… *wink wink*
