Those who know me, know that I’m a music festival junkie, and for more reasons than you might think! Music fests aren’t just about the music anymore. Besides attracting mainstream artists, emerging indie bands and underground DJs, festivals and concerts have become a gathering place for all things art and fashion. Let’s be real—I’m pretty sure all those Coachella fashionistas decked out in foil tats and headpieces put at least a little bit of thought into their street style. (MissMalini fashion blogger Sana shows you how the girls would do it!) And why not! Music festivals are fashion’s safety zone, where self expression is encouraged and anything goes!

With just one week until SulaFest’s 10th Anniversary, I decided to put together six menswear looks – In case you need some festival inspo yourself. Hope to see you there!

1. Pair Psychedelic Prints With Basics

Psy print look

Easily my top pick—I love the printed t-shirt and solid blue jacket combo. Pair with skinny chinos and white kicks and you’re ready to jam out.

Jacket – Mayur Girotra

T-Shirt – Splash

Trousers – Topman

Shoes – Pull & Bear

Bracelet  – Being Human

Necklace – Being Human

Sunglasses – Calvin Klein

2. Layer With Denim

Layered denim look

The slightly oversized look is not necessarily a part of my everyday style, but heck, I try anything once. And when things heat up, tie around your waist for another casual look.

Shirt – Brooks Brothers

T-shirt – Splash

Trousers – Splash

Bracelet – BeBajrang

Necklace – Be Bajrang

Shoes – Pull & Bear

3. Balance Classics With Edgy Accessories

Sporty Polo look

If your style is more preppy than grunge, find a polo (bonus points if it has a fun print like these tennis rackets here) and pair with shorts and sneaks. I layered the two bracelets seen here to add some interest.

T-shirt – Brooks Brothers

Shorts – Brooks Brothers

Bracelets – Being Human

Shoes – Polo By Ralph Lauren

Sunglasses – RayBan

4. When In Doubt, Grab A Leather Jacket

The leather look

You can’t go wrong with this quintessential bad boy look, cos, y’know, girls love bad boys!

Leather Jacket – Splash

T-Shirt – H&M

Jeans – H&M

Shoes – Zara

Bracelet – Being Human

Necklace – Being Human

5. Prints on Prints on Prints

Print on print layered

Some people are scared to mix prints, but it totally works when done right. Choose a flannel for your base print and tie around your waist for the ultimate grunge guy look. Choose a jacket in another print that picks up one of the colors in the flannel (like red here).

Jacket – Ekam

Jacket around waist – Mayur Girotra

Gunjee – Splash

Jeans – Diesel

Shoes – Topman

Necklace – Being Human

Bracelets – Being Human

6. Another Jacket That Always Works: The Bomber

The Bomber

Two words: After Partayyy! When the sun sets and it’s time to hit the late night scene, opt for a bomber jacket over a printed button up and ripped denims.

Jacket – Bo Square

shirt – Splash

Jeans – Zara

Shoes – Zara

Necklace – BeBajrang

Sunglasses – Topman

There you have it, six ways for you to be the baddest looking dude at the next Music Festival you attend. Which look are you most likely to wear? Tell us in the comments below.
