Believe it or not, jewellery is always the force behind making every outfit look good.  This fact became even more relevant when we saw Gaury Pathare’s jewellery collection at Lakme Fashion Week this year. She states that these jaw-dropping treasures have been inspired from her travelling escapades. Also, these jewels were made from industrial waste and scrap and still managed to made a statement. Cool, isn’t it?

Circles entwined around the neck with strings at the end, metal clasps and stones were what these eye-catching neckpieces were made out. There were also interesting variations of necklace-cum-arm ornaments, large angular pendants, hanging changes on bangles and entwined neckpiece that made a bold statement. The best part about her collection was that it was all sustainable and was made by artisans community supported by the Mantra Foundation.

Art with a cause makes it even more valuable, isn’t it?
