Manisha Koirala had a successful inning as Bollywood heroine in the ’90s and the babe is all set to make a comeback this year. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Manisha will be essaying a key role in the Sanjay Dutt biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor – that of Nargis Dutt.
Speaking about casting Manisha, Rajkumar Hirani said:
We were thinking of many actresses. And while Manisha is really pretty and a fantastic actress, my primary reason for taking her is that she’s a cancer survivor and, having been through the journey herself, can identify with Nargisji’s fight with the Big C.
