Here’s The Full Breakdown Of Neil Nitin Mukesh & Rukmini Sahay’s Wedding Outfits

Neil Nitin Mukesh is all set to tie the knot with Rukmini Sahay on February 9th. The two earlier met in an arranged marriage setup, and then got engaged in a hush-hush ceremony.

Well, their functions are now underway in Udaipur, and we have a look at what their wedding outfits are. Apparently, Neil’s designer friends came out in full force, and we hear that the groom himself closely monitored the creation of all the outfits.

The wedding will be taking place at the Radisson Blu, and will be a family-only affair with close to 500 guests expected. There will be a separate reception on the 17th of February at JW Marriott in Mumbai, and will be a bigger affair with several Bollywood celebrities in attendance.

Here’s a look at what they’re wearing. There are some sketches included, along with the official descriptions sent to us.

7th February

Engagement + Cocktail Party

Neil wore Aditya Kilachand; Rukmini wore Sarath Krishnan.

8th February

Mehendi + Sangeet

Neil is wearing Krishna Mehta for the mehendi and Narendra Kumar Ahmed for the sangeet; Rukmini is wearing Nishi Nitin Mukesh for the mehendi and Krishna Mehta for the sangeet.

A classic kurta and vest made in exquisite silk with pink dominating the color scheme and perfectly complimented by orange gold zardozi embroidery. With focus to ornate detailing, much like the palaces and havelis in Rajasthan, the off-beat anarkali style defines the vivid colour scheme.

Rukmini’s sangeet outfit

A traditional lehenga, dupatta and blouse that delves into the roots of Rajasthani designed by incorporating intricate gota work into the outfit. The stunning Pista green outfit with gota patti has been further embroidered with striking multi colour threads in zardozi. The border of the lehnga has been laced with dainty French knots to add an element of regal sophistication to the overall ensemble.

9th February

Haldi/Poolside + Wedding

Neil and Rukmini are both wearing Neerus for the haldi and poolside party, and Sarath Krishnan for the wedding.

A traditional rajwaad look created by combining pure fabrics and handwork by the finest Rajasthani craftsmen using authentic work like aari, pure zari, kardana, resham, nakshi, etc.

Rukmini’s wedding outfit

Using pure silk fabric combined with traditional hand thread work and elements like stones, resham, sadhi etc. The outfit is subtle and yet classy.
