Remember those super cute MakeMyTrip ads featuring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh? Their chemistry and comic timing just seemed so impeccable and always made me wonder why nobody has casted them in a film together. Turns out, somebody has listened! Zoya Akhtar has signed the duo on for her next directorial venture Gully Boy and the film will go on floors in November.
If any of Zoya’s past films are anything to go by, this film will hopefully too includes a lot of beautiful locales and an amazing portrayal of human relationships. For now, we’re just really excited that the two super talented actors are going to unite on screen! Fireworks, anyone?
