Deepika Padukone won’t be walking the red carpet this year at the prestigious Cannes film festival. Other brand ambassadors, Aishwarya Rai and Sonam Kapoor will be present at the French Riviera, but the newest face of the cosmetic brand, unfortunately, won’t be there.
DP is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s Padmavati, which has suffered enough delay owing to the protests surrounding the film’s topic. She reportedly wants to give the film her undivided attention now and therefore, does not want to reschedule the film in the coming months.
