A local court in Ludhiana recently issued an arrest warrant against controversy’s favourite child, Rakhi Sawant for allegedly making objectionable remarks against Valmiki, the writer of Ramayana.
Rakhi apparently hurt the religious sentiments of the Valmiki community by making certain comments at an event last year. A complaint was eventually filed against her, followed by an arrest warrant on March 9. A couple of police officers from Ludhiana reportedly left for Mumbai with the arrest warrant.
According to a report in BL, Rakhi did not appear before the court during the last hearing, despite the court’s repeated summons. The next hearing of the case is on April 10.
