Vidya Balan‘s Begum Jaan is all set to release soon and the makers of the film are doing a very good job in keeping us posted with some super fun behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the movie. In a ‘making of’ video of the movie, Vidya shares her experience of playing the role of Begum Jaan. She spoke about the challenges she faced while shooting the really violent scenes for the film.
She said:
I went through such an emotional turmoil, specially in one scene where I had to slap Mishti, who’s playing Shabhnam. Take kiya aur main take mein shayad pagal ho gayi, and she got a jaw lock. She shrieked in pain! I started trembling like I’ve never trembled before… And the girl started crying, seeing her, I started crying. It wasn’t easy being Begum Jaan for sure!
