Salman Khan is currently touring the world for his DaBangg tour along with Bipasha Basu, Daisy Shah, Sonakshi Sinha, and more. His dear friend Akshay Kumar surprised fans in Hong Kong with his fabulous performance and it was a much-loved affair. The team is now headed to Auckland and rumour has it that Ranveer Singh and Anil Kapoor were offered to be a part of the show but the two turned it down.
Given that Anil and Salman are friends and have worked together in multiple films in the past, one would’ve thought he’d accompany them. Ranveer’s spokesperson told Deccan Chronicle,
He was approached eight months ago but his team had to decline it as he is busy shooting for Padmavati.
Fair. But another source told DC that he two may have feared being overshadowed by Salman.
Salman is at the end of the day, a huge star and Anil and Ranveer are aware of that. Neither wanted to be overshadowed by him and hence they decided to stay away from the gig.
Sigh. Imagine how much energy there would’ve been with these 3 on stage together!
