Sonu Nigam has been the talk of the town this week with his insensitive comments about the Azaan. The singer went on a Twitter rant about how he’s woken up every morning by it and that loudspeakers should be banned from mosques and temples. This didn’t go down too well with a vast population of the country and he has now become controversy’s favourite child.
In an interesting turn of events, he openly challenged a maulvi who issued a fatwa against him and shaved his head. Now, an old video of Priyanka Chopra praising the Azaan has gone viral.
