Sagarika Ghatge and Zaheer Khan took everybody by surprise by announcing their engagement the other day. Although they were rumoured to be dating since a long time, they never confirmed their relationship status.
We hear that Zaheer popped the question to Sagarika when she was least expecting it. The actress told TOI:
Zak secretly planned our engagement for days; and I honestly had no clue. I had no idea that he had picked up such a pretty ring for me. I can’t describe that moment and it will forever remain as something very special between us. We are really blessed.
The engagement was a surprise as it came right in the middle of the IPL season. However, marriage will take place later as she said:
We will discuss all this once the IPL is over. Right now Zak has to practice and once the league is over, we will all sit down and plan the dates and the ceremonies.
Aww! So happy for these two!
