There has been a lot said about Kapil Sharma and his comedy show for the last couple of weeks now. Rumours of dropped TRPs of The Kapil Sharma Show have been doing the rounds for a while now and it was being said that the channel was considering taking the show off air to make place for either Salman Khan‘s Dus Ka Dum or Sunil Grover‘s new show. But as it turns out, those were just speculations because the show is here to stay!
A source close to the channel informed Bollywood Life,
These are pure speculations. Salman Khan is not doing Dus Ka Dum for Sony in the near future. Kapil’s show is on and the makers are not planning to pull the plug. It is all gossip. For all the talk about TRPs, it is true that it is out of top 10 but we know that summers is a critical time with the IPL. The numbers haven’t gone down greatly and the competition for the 9pm slot is huge with the cricket mania. Moreover, we did not have any big actors coming on the show in the past couple of weeks and more. This will change after the IPL.
