Ishqbaaz is currently focussing on Shivaay and Anika’s past life. While Anika wants to find the truth behind Mahi’s real identity, Shivaay is curious to know about her childhood, parents etc. For the upcoming sequence of the show, Anika’s childhood will be shown in flashbacks. The character of young Anika will be played by Nitanshi Goel, and will focus on her disturbed childhood and the reality of her parents.
