The much anticipated and the grandest fashion event of the year, The MET Gala, needs no introduction. It is a fundraising benefit for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, located in the New York City. What makes it so special are the people on the guest list that walk the red carpet, making it a grand show in itself. This year the theme for Costume Institute’s fashion exhibition presents and honours the work of designer Rei Kawakubo, founder of the Japanese fashion label Comme des Garçons. The exhibition is titled as- Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between.
