The stage for the Louis Vuitton’s Cruise show was something that will go down in the history of runways. Set at the Miho Museum near Kyoto, Japan, Nicolas Ghesquière‘s woodland scenery for the show only elevated the collection further. Although the architecture played a massive roll with the 2018 resort collection, it was actually the oversized jackets, see-through dresses, leather outerwear, patch-work handbags, boots and bold eye makeup by Pat McGrath that really did it fir us. The clothing and accessories tapped into some Japanese styles, while the models looked quite Geisha-like.
