Before her untimely demise, Reema Lagoo was playing the antagonist on Mahesh Bhatt‘s prime time show on Star Plus, Naamkaran. Her character was central to the show, therefore the makers had to look for a replacement almost immediately.
Therefore, Ragini Shah has been roped in to play Reema tai’s character, Dayawanti Mehta. She will reportedly take the track forward from Avni and Neil’s marriage.
Reema Lagoo will surely be missed on screen, her shoes are too big to fill!
